Monochromatic can be defined as, “containing or using only one color”.
When you think of this in terms of fashion, it can sound pretty…boring. Who wants to wear an outfit using only one color? Recently many celebrities and socialites have tried the look for themselves and I have to say, I’m a fan.
If done right, wearing a monochromatic outfit has its perks:
- For starters, its easy. Say so long to standing in front of your closet for what feels like forever just to find an outfit. It takes no time to pull out two pieces of the same color. You’ll look like you’ve spent the whole night picking out that ensemble.
- It doesn’t have to match exactly. As long as the colors are in the same family, there is not need to be matchy-matchy.
- It’s for everyone. As long as the colors and cuts of the clothes are flattering, monochromatic fashion looks good on
any woman. It’s not just a trend to be done by slim celebrities.
- It’s fun! Be Bold & Be Brave, It’s just clothes.
