If you attended the Black family reunion last night, a.k.a The BET Awards, then you saw an extreme showcase of fashion, elegance, and all around black girl magic. Personally, I enjoyed many of the ensembles that pre-show and decided to share a few of my favorites with you!

Jada Pinkett Smith, showcased her spectacular body in a golden sequin number.

Cardi B, opted for a monochromatic look in Givenchy. To keep the look seamless, she paired the two piece with red heels and clutch.

Logan Browning, star of ‘Dear White People’, came through in a feathery number. The short length was perfect so that her petite frame wouldn’t be lost in it.

Justine Skye (left) and Sierra McClain (right) represented for the chocolate women last night with effortless looks. “As soon as I tried it on, I didn’t have to try anything else”, Skye said about her choice ensemble. Sierra said that she wanted to be comfortable but sexy when choosing her ensemble.

‘Orange is the New Black’ star, Dascha Polanco, looked stunning in all white. There aren’t many people that can pull off the shoulder ruffle, but Dascha is in the number!

Lala Anthony celebrated her birthday while walking the BET carpet and she looked great! Glowing and showing her picturesque physique, she dawned a neutral see-through dress.

Last but certainly not least, the woman of the evening, Leslie Jones wore a custom gown for the pre-show. She was honest in admitting that she didn’t know how to dress herself, so she picked a color and her stylist did the rest.
