<h5>Spring Break is here!</h5>

<p>In honor of the yearly event where college students from near and far gather to escape everything they&#8217;ve been learning in college (and even things they&#8217;ve learned as home training)&#8230; I wanted to let you all know a few things to do and also those things that you should avoid at all cost.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m all for having <em><strong>fun</strong></em> and living your best life as long as you&#8217;re being safe and not putting yourself or others in danger. So here are 11 <em><strong>things to remember</strong></em> during this vacation:</p>

<ol>
<li><em><strong>Do NOT</strong> </em>put your drink down and come back to it. &#8211; I feel like people say this all the time but just in case you haven&#8217;t heard, date rape drugs are a real thing. If you have to go to the restroom, dance, etc.- ask a <em><strong>trusted</strong> </em>friend to hold your drink or take it with you but NEVER leave it unattended.</li>
<li>Before you get into your Uber or Lyft, <em><strong>make sure</strong></em> that there is a sign in their window provided by the company.</li>
<li>If you chose not to use Uber or Lyft, make sure that you have a <em><strong>designated</strong> </em>driver (and decide before leaving who that person will be).<img class=" wp-image-2090 aligncenter" src="https://queentoqueens.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/giphy-1.gif" alt="giphy (1)" width="360" height="196" /></li>
<li>Take a portable charger! Nothing&#8217;s worse than a dead phone in the middle of nowhere.<img class=" wp-image-2092 aligncenter" src="https://queentoqueens.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/giphy-2.gif" alt="giphy (2)" width="324" height="199" /></li>
<li>Plan ahead (i.e. parties, brunch, etc.)- There&#8217;s going to be an influx of people everywhere so lines will be long and inevitable. Make reservations and call ahead.</li>
<li>Before consuming alcohol, please eat. I&#8217;ve seen too many girls throwing up in public. Don&#8217;t be that girl.</li>
<li>While we&#8217;re on the topic, know your limits. If know you <em><strong>aren&#8217;t a drinker</strong></em>, don&#8217;t turn into one this week.<img class=" wp-image-2094 aligncenter" src="https://queentoqueens.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/giphy-3.gif" alt="giphy (3)" width="384" height="216" /></li>
<li><em><strong>Ration your money out per day.</strong></em> For example, if you&#8217;re taking $200 with you, only use what you need for that day. This will keep you within your budget. *Master Tip: Don&#8217;t take all of your money out with you. Leave some back in the hotel or AirBnB. If you take it all and you lose your wallet, then what?*<img class=" wp-image-2097 aligncenter" src="https://queentoqueens.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/giphy-5.gif" alt="giphy (5)" width="247" height="247" /></li>
<li><em><strong>Clean up</strong></em> after yourself on the beaches. I know your mama raised you better than to leave bottles on the ground. *strong side eyes*</li>
<li>People on the street that have those little <em><strong>bottle cap and shuffling games</strong></em> are actually friends in real life. They stop you when you look naive and pretend to be betting against each other in hopes that you will bet your money. Don&#8217;t do it. It&#8217;s a trap.</li>
<li>LASTLY, enjoy yourself!</li>
