
<p style="background-color:#f9a6f4;" class="has-background">The year is 2019. <br>The number one song on Billboard is Old Town Road.<br>There are cars that run on electricity. <br>Global warming is very much so <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">a thing</span></strong>. <br>And somewhere in America, Kimora Lee Simmons (<em>now Kimora Lee Leissner</em>) was planning a comeback. </p>

<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">The iconic brand, <em><strong>Baby Phat</strong></em> has been revived by the model/mogul almost 10 years after it was sold by Russell Simmons. </p>



<p>As a child of the 90&#8217;s and early 2000&#8217;s, I can appreciate the nostalgia that <em>Baby Phat </em>triggers. I remember begging for the puffer coats, jeans and over-the-top shoes. I remember the pride that girls and women would exude when they wore the brand. So as you can imagine, I was beyond excited when I learned of <em>Baby Phat&#8217;s </em>collaboration with Forever21. </p>

<p>In my excitement, I found myself scrolling the pages of Forever21 at 1 a.m. to get a feel for what the collaboration would look like. I must say that in my excitement, I expected a little more but I am still thrilled at the thought of a resurgence. </p>
