<p><strong>Part 3 [Final]:</strong> I know that this is long overdue and for that, I apologize. I&#8217;ve been suffering from what you may call &#8220;writer&#8217;s block&#8221;. It wasn&#8217;t that I couldn&#8217;t write anything&#8230; however, I don&#8217;t believe in writing something that isn&#8217;t genuine just for the sake of posting an article. With that being said, let&#8217;s continue where we left off.</p>
<p>In the previous two articles we discussed my friends &#8216;Casey&#8217; and &#8216;Ashley&#8217;. I shared their stories with you all simply because I don&#8217;t see any use in going through situations in our lives if we aren&#8217;t going to use our testimonies to help others who may be going through similar things. And when it comes to matters of the heart, all of the help we can get would be beneficial. What I wanted you to take from these posts is that love isn&#8217;t abuse. Love isn&#8217;t lying and taking advantage of someone. The bible says:</p>
<blockquote><p><em><span id="en-NIV-28670" class="text 1Cor-13-4"><sup class="versenum">&#8220;4 </sup>Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.</span> <span id="en-NIV-28671" class="text 1Cor-13-5"><sup class="versenum">5 </sup>It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.</span> <span id="en-NIV-28672" class="text 1Cor-13-6"><sup class="versenum">6 </sup>Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.</span> </em><span id="en-NIV-28673" class="text 1Cor-13-7"><em><sup class="versenum">7 </sup>It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.&#8221;</em> [1 Corinthians 13:4-7]<br />

<p><strong>This</strong> is how we should love, <strong>and how others should love us</strong>. Settle for nothing less than someone who has witnessed your darkest side, but still chose to see the light in you. Settle for nothing less than someone who adds to your joy while diminishing your past pains. But most importantly, settle for nothing less than someone who knows that you must have a strong relationship with God before any relationships with man can succeed.</p>
<p>For a twenty year old, I think I&#8217;ve seen a lot. I&#8217;ve also learned a lot, not necessarily because I&#8217;ve personally been in situations, but because I learn from others. If I see someone fall after skating over rough ground, I&#8217;m not going to skate over the same spot. Some things are just common sense; but like a professor once said &#8220;If common sense were common, everybody would have it&#8221;. But I digress, I hope you took something from these installments, if not for your own personal benefit, I hope that you may have shared them with a friend.</p>
