Where’s Your Inner Peace? [Part 2]

<p><em>  In the last article<&sol;em>&comma; <a title&equals;"Where’s your inner peace&quest;" href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;queentoqueens&period;com&sol;2014&sol;07&sol;10&sol;wheres-your-inner-peace&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">&&num;8216&semi;Where&&num;8217&semi;s Your Inner Peace&quest;&&num;8217&semi;<&sol;a> &lpar;link to article&rpar;&comma; we discussed the meaning and importance of having <strong>and<&sol;strong> maintaining your inner peace&period; I hope you&&num;8217&semi;ve been practicing your daily dump truck mindset in order to help you dispose of all of the baggage and negativity that may have been weighing you down&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So&comma; you may be wondering&comma; &&num;8220&semi;how do I achieve inner peace&quest;&&num;8221&semi;&period; Things that may work for me&comma; may not necessarily do the same for you&period; But&comma; here are a few things that I have tried and hopefully you may find them useful&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>1&period;<strong>Prayer and Meditation<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; The Bible says&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Pray without ceasing&&num;8221&semi; &lpar;1 Thessalonians 5&colon;17&rpar;&comma; but as people our minds are constantly distracted making constant prayer a hard task&period; However&comma;  pray as much as you can&period; Whether you&&num;8217&semi;re walking to your car&comma; washing dishes&comma; or during a commercial break&comma; make it a habit to spend a little time just saying &&num;8220&semi;Thank You&&num;8221&semi;&period; A little prayer can go a <em><strong>long<&sol;strong> <&sol;em>way&period; When you spend more time<em><strong> focusing<&sol;strong><&sol;em> on all that God has done for you&comma;  the things that you don&&num;8217&semi;t have suddenly become insignificant&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<&excl;-- WP QUADS Content Ad Plugin v&period; 3&period;0&period;2 -->&NewLine;<div class&equals;"quads-location quads-ad1" id&equals;"quads-ad1" style&equals;"float&colon;none&semi;margin&colon;10px&semi;">&NewLine;&NewLine;<&sol;div>&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>2&period; <strong>Find a hobby<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; Hobbies have a way of distracting our minds&comma; even if it&&num;8217&semi;s only for 30 minutes&period; If you can pick up a hobby that allows room for improvement&comma; that would be even better for you&period; Playing an instrument&comma; sewing&comma; writing&comma; or arts and craft projects &lpar;if you enjoy them&rpar; will have you looking forward to getting better and better at the activity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>3&period; <strong>Exercise<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; Similar to a hobby&comma; exercise decreases stress by releasing <em><strong>endorphins<&sol;strong><&sol;em> &period; Endorphins are the &&num;8220&semi;<em>brains feel-good neurotransmitters&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;em> They are the cause of <em> <&sol;em>the improved mood you feel after a good workout&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>4&period; <strong>Let GO<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; Even after doing all of the things that you could possibly think of to find your inner peace&comma; none of it will work if you do not learn to let go&period; A favorite quote of mine is&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die&&num;8221&semi;&period; What good is it serving you to hold onto every wrong that people have done towards you&quest; Yes&comma; it may have hurt&period; Yes&comma; it may have been hard on you&period; But&comma; do something for me&&num;8230&semi; Place your right hand over the left side of your chest&&num;8230&semi; That&&num;8217&semi;s your heartbeat and it signifies that you are still here&period; Anything in life that does not kill us&comma; only makes us stronger&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I hope that this has helped you in any way that you may have needed in discovering and holding onto <em><strong>your inner peace<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Until next time&comma; LOVE&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1 class&equals;"quoteText"><&sol;h1>&NewLine;&NewLine;
