<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;queentoqueens&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;08&sol;protest-wm-large&period;jpg"><img class&equals;"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-245" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;queentoqueens&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;08&sol;protest-wm-large&period;jpg&quest;w&equals;300" alt&equals;"protest---wm-large" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"236" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I try to leave my blog as unbiased as possible&period; Simply because I want this to be a place where races and religions aren&&num;8217&semi;t taken into consideration because we&&num;8217&semi;re all <em><strong>people&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em> But at some point in time&comma; certain things have to be addressed&period; We&&num;8217&semi;ve grown to be so afraid of what&&num;8217&semi;s politically correct and what&&num;8217&semi;s not&comma; that we censor our thoughts and feelings and mold them to be acceptable to society&period;  However&comma; <em><strong>at what point<&sol;strong><&sol;em> do we as a people &lpar;African Americans&rpar; stand together and say &&num;8220&semi;this is enough&period;&&num;8221&semi; We can&&num;8217&semi;t be joined together because we&&num;8217&semi;re too busy fighting each other on all fronts&period; We&&num;8217&semi;re the only people who can&&num;8217&semi;t get along for anything because we have our own personal vendettas that we can&&num;8217&semi;t let go of for 2 seconds&period; When someone dies in our community we stand together for a month and think we&&num;8217&semi;ve accomplished something&period; No&comma; we haven&&num;8217&semi;t&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We can post party flyers all day and night on social media but can&&num;8217&semi;t acknowledge the death of an innocent 17-year-old male being gunned down because &&num;8216&semi;it&&num;8217&semi;s &&num;8220&semi;not cool&&num;8221&semi;&period; Do you want to know what&&num;8217&semi;s really &&num;8220&semi;not cool&&num;8221&semi;&quest; Us being ignorant about the things that are happening in our own community&comma; with our <em><strong>OWN PEOPLE<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s actually sad&excl; But we let it fly by and one day&comma; if it hits our own homes&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;ll want everyone to support us&period; Where were you when others needed you&quest; Trayvon Martin&&num;8217&semi;s parents&&num;8230&semi; Sean Bell&&num;8217&semi;s fiance&&num;8230&semi; Jordan Davis&&num;8217&semi;s parents&&num;8230&semi; and now&comma; Mike Brown&&num;8217&semi;s family&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We used to stand for something&period; Our ancestors didn&&num;8217&semi;t die&comma; get arrested&comma; and fight for us to  be complacent with where we are&period; No&period; They fought for us to have equality and the same rights that are afforded to everyone else&period; We&&num;8217&semi;re legally equals&&num;8230&semi; but in mindsets and social equality&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;re behind&&num;8230&semi; tremendously&period;<br &sol;> What will you do&quest; Will you stand up&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;If you don&&num;8217&semi;t stand for something&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;ll fall for anything&period;&&num;8221&semi; &&num;8211&semi; Malcolm X<&sol;p>&NewLine;<&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;&NewLine;<&excl;-- WP QUADS Content Ad Plugin v&period; 3&period;0&period;2 -->&NewLine;<div class&equals;"quads-location quads-ad1" id&equals;"quads-ad1" style&equals;"float&colon;none&semi;margin&colon;10px&semi;">&NewLine;&NewLine;<&sol;div>&NewLine;&NewLine;
