<p>I will be the first person to admit that I do not read as much as I should. It&#8217;s really sad because there was a time when you couldn&#8217;t <strong>pry</strong> a book out of my hands for anything in this world. As you get older, it feels like you don&#8217;t have time for much&#8230; especially reading.</p>
<p>But this year I want to rediscover the book worm within me. I want to make reading a habit again and I started by <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>getting a library card from my local library</strong></span> and <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>making a list of books</strong></span> I want to read this year. All of the authors are African- American with the exception of 2 (<em>in case that matters to you</em>). But I wanted to share my list with you because <span style="color:#000080;">it&#8217;s much easier to complete a goal when you aren&#8217;t in it alone</span>. So, I will be documenting my journey through these books and hopefully you will find some interesting to either read along with me <strong>or</strong> you can keep me updated on your current reads!</p>
