Fall Fashion: How I Style Blazers

Hey girl hey!

It’s been getting cooler outside so last week I started pulling out my cool weather clothes. Sweaters…jackets… you know, the usual. As I was rummaging through storage bins, I realized I own A LOT of blazers. One blazer in particular, has been a piece in my closet since high school (2010 to be exact) but I’ll have another post about that later.

While pulling my blazers out, I realized that they are a staple that have stood the test of time. From excessive shoulder pads in the 80’s to the 90’s oversized fit, I think its safe to say that blazers have always found a way to evolve to fit our lifestyles over time.

With that being said, I wanted to show you 2 options when styling your blazers for the fall season. Both looks can be accomplished with things you already own. Check it out:

Bonjour Blazer

Without the blazer and hat, this look would be super casual but this is a great example of how just a few pieces can take an outfit to the next level.

I picked this blazer up at Zara’s end of season sale for $40 and these jeans are Levi’s that I found at Ross for $16.99.

Growl Power

Cheetah, leopard and zebra print are definitely back this season and this blazer does the trick. In order to let the blazer be the standout piece in this outfit, I kept everything else neutral. This blazer was picked up for $7 about 2 years ago at JCPenny’s (don’t sleep on department stores) and the turtle neck sweater and purse are both from F21. The jeans are from a sale ASOS had last year and they aren’t sold there anymore, sorry! 🙁

Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone when wearing your blazers. Dress them up or down, go bold or tone it down. It’s up to you.

From me to you, Love.
